Amkor Technology Philippines is the local branch of Amkor Technology, Inc., a leading global provider of semiconductor packaging and testing services. Its facilities in Laguna and Muntinlupa are essential to the production of chips used across a wide range of electronic devices.

As part of my practicum, I had the opportunity to work in the company’s IT Department at one of its facilities located at Km 22, East Service Road, Cupang, Muntinlupa City.

🧑‍💻 Role

I worked as a Software Web Developer Intern in the IT Department of Amkor Technology Philippines.

My main responsibility was to support the development and enhancement of an internal web application used across the organization. I collaborated with the in-house IT team on systems that help improve employee experience and streamline internal workflows.

⚙️ Work Highlights

• Helped improve internal web application related to employee development and digital resource management
• Gained practical experience in real-world web development workflows
• Worked closely with other developers to understand how internal systems are built and maintained
